City Babies today recorded draws in the games against Standfast FC today at the Tamale Kaladan park.The 12s started it by drawing 1-1 with the Satandfast lads..The babies have to fought hard to got a late equiliser in the second halve to send the game to the 1-1 draw after conceding an early goal in the first halve.The babies equiliser was scored by Kamaldeen.</p>

<p>Yesterday was a great day for the Manchester City Babies as they recorded massive victories in their games against Starlets in the 12s and under 14s divisions of the Northern region of the National Colts league in Ghana.&nbsp; The under 12s won by two goals to nil in the first match in the morning whilst the under 14s also walloped their opponents by three good goals to nil.&nbsp;</p>
<p>It was really a good start for the Babies after their annual awards and party ceremony was held on Monday to award players and coaches.&nbsp; The party had been thought about for some time before the Soccer Babies organisation suggested that it should become an Annual Awards ceremony for the club in order to reward the greatest achievements of the year.&nbsp; The party clearly provided excellent motivation as the boys went on to great victories this weekend.&nbsp; The Babies continue to make cracking progress in their first season in the league across all age groups.&nbsp; The 17s play on Sunday 24th January.</p>]]></description></item><item><title>Weekend Match Reports</title><link>http://www.mcfcfans.co.uk/mcfc_babies/$mcfc_babies_blog/2010/01/09/weekend_match_reports</link><comments>http://www.mcfcfans.co.uk/mcfc_babies/$mcfc_babies_blog/2010/01/09/weekend_match_reports#Comments</comments><pubDate>2010-01-09T18:56:00Z</pubDate><category></category><guid isPermaLink="true">http://www.mcfcfans.co.uk/mcfc_babies/$mcfc_babies_blog/2010/01/09/weekend_match_reports</guid><description><![CDATA[<p>The Babies managed two victories out of three in their match against their arch rivals Tiyumba&nbsp; this weekend.The Babies won in the 12s and 17s division,whilst their counterparts won only in the 14s category.The 12s started it on Friday when they beat them by 2-1 in a keenly contested match.The Babies started the game well determined and got their first goal in the 12th minute through Hagai.The babies added the second in the 29th minute courtesy Kamaldeen to send the halve 2-0 for the Babies.The Tiyumba lads resume the halve well determined side ,they quickly pull one back to make it 2-1.After that they search for the equiliser but the defense of the Babies stood to the task till the final whistle which sent all supporters of the Babies into jubilant mood.</p>

<p>Then came the 14s.The Babies were hoping for a double whilst their opponents were hoping to make amends.But at the end the Tiyumba lads ended up winning 1 -0 but the Babies really played well and they should end the game with at least a draw,but that never happend.</p>
<p>All attention was then shifted to the 17s match as both sides were hoping for a win to determined the best side among the two because all of them won 1 each in the games played so fa.So the 17s was the decider.The game was a tough one but at the end Charles classic free kick in the second halve separated the two sides,which made all fans of the babies very
