1 Comment- Add comment | Back to MCFC Babies Written on 13-Jul-2009 by GhanaianblueThis weekend was really a bad one for the babies as we managed one draw out of the three games this weekend. After losing the U12s division game 2-0, the 14s manage to get a goaless draw in the second match and the 17s were beaten by a goal to nil.
I must say we really played a better side in the Juvenile league in the Region. Republicans is a force to reckon with in the region and I was not surprised with our performance against them. My only surprise was in the U12 division which i was not expecting us to lose at all. We will come back and prepare for our next match. I hope we will make amends this weekend.

Aww no. I know better than to feel bit sad at the results, but I will try to offer supportive words for the lads. I had hoped the U12s maybe could watch and learn from the other senior matches, but apparently not. Fear not, maybe as a whole, the babies when training, will be able to reflect and as Scribbs rightfully spoke (with jinx!) of getting all the early losses out the way. I'm just eager for them to play a good game, so I shall look forward to when they have their first win and I certainly will be smiling as soon as you have that report! No worries babies, first game with the Republicans was harsh, but it won't be the last.
Let me know if there is any training footage on YouTube. I know a few others here on MCFCfans will hate me to further add, I prefer cheering and supporting the Babies than the MC team at the moment! (shhhh! haha!) I better get back to work. Keep it going Ghanianblue.
